R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, The loved ones of C. W. Williams of Shepherd were
  greatly saddened by his passing on April 8, 2013, at the age of 79;
  and
         WHEREAS, A native of Bastrop, C. W. Williams was born on
  October 11, 1933, to Charlie and Ilester Williams; in his youth, he
  attended local public schools and became a member of the Church of
  God in Christ; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Williams served as a source of inspiration to
  his 4 children, 10 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren, and
  he was the devoted husband of Evangelist Mary L. Williams; and
         WHEREAS, Although he will be deeply missed, memories of this
  beloved man will be forever treasured by all those who were
  fortunate to share in the richness of his life; now, therefore, be
  it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of C. W. Williams and
  extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his wife,
  Mary L. Williams; to his children, Sharon Bennett, Jamerey
  Hamilton, Larry Pope and his wife, Carolyn, and Lawrence Demps and
  his wife, Linda; to his siblings, Ileste Williams, Mary Haywood,
  and Joyce and Edward Williams; to his sisters-in-law, Patricia
  Carr, Elenor Davison, Karen Wilkerson, Dorothy Dunahoe, Odessa
  Cross, and Shirley Belcher; to his grandchildren and
  great-grandchildren; and to his other relatives and friends; and,
  be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of C. W.
  Williams.
