R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, A full and generous life drew to a close with the |
|
passing of Gary Wager of Silsbee on April 6, 2013, at the age of 79; |
|
and |
|
WHEREAS, Born in Andover, Kansas, to Elmer and Muriel Wager, |
|
Mr. Wager was a longtime resident of the Silsbee community; he |
|
honorably served his country in the United States Navy, and he |
|
worked for Mobil Chemical for more than four decades before |
|
retiring as a supervisor; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Wager married the former Barbara Reddell, and |
|
the couple shared 36 years together; he was blessed with 6 children, |
|
and over time, his family grew to include 11 grandchildren and 6 |
|
great-grandchildren; and |
|
WHEREAS, Gary Wager treasured the time he spent in the |
|
company of his loved ones, and those he leaves behind will forever |
|
carry their memories of him close in their hearts; now, therefore, |
|
be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Gary Wager and extend |
|
sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his wife, Barbara |
|
Wager; to his children, Rodney Wager and his wife, Sharon, Eric |
|
Lawrence and his wife, Leigh Ann, Jimmy Lawrence, Larry Lawrence |
|
and his wife, Melissa, Garyl Rutherford, and Debbie Burnes; to his |
|
brother, Bob Wager; to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; |
|
and to his other relatives and friends; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Gary Wager. |
