R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, A full and generous life drew to a close with the |
|
passing of Martha Jo Hayden of Livingston on April 10, 2013, at the |
|
age of 78; and |
|
WHEREAS, The former Martha Jo Trero was born in Birmingham, |
|
Alabama, on January 24, 1935, to Sam and Susie Trero; as a young |
|
woman, she married and was ultimately blessed with three children, |
|
Benny, Raymond, and Michael; and |
|
WHEREAS, Through the years, Mrs. Hayden also served as a |
|
source of wisdom and inspiration to her 7 grandchildren and her 16 |
|
great-grandchildren; and |
|
WHEREAS, Martha Jo Hayden treasured the time she spent in the |
|
company of her family and friends, and those she leaves behind will |
|
forever carry their memories of her close in their hearts; now, |
|
therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Martha Jo Hayden and |
|
extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to her sons, |
|
Benny Cude and his wife, LeAnn, and Raymond and Michael Cude; to her |
|
siblings, William Sam Trero, Louise Trero, Malcolm Eugene Trero, |
|
and Mary Rose Browning; to her sisters-in-law, MaryAnn Trero, |
|
Maxine Hayden, and Lorraine Perry; to her grandchildren and |
|
great-grandchildren; to her longtime companion, Roy Stanford; and |
|
to her other loved ones; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Martha Jo |
|
Hayden. |
