R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, The certain knowledge of a life well lived may
  comfort those saddened by the passing of Richard Carroll Wells of
  Livingston on April 5, 2013, at the age of 68; and
         WHEREAS, A native of Kingsville, Richard Wells was born on
  August 20, 1944, to Dick and Nina Wells; he was the devoted husband
  of Bobette Wells and the proud father of four sons, Gerald, Todd,
  Scan, and Rusty; and
         WHEREAS, Through the years, Mr. Wells also experienced the
  joy of becoming a grandparent to his grandchildren, Jennifer, Leah,
  Bobby, and Nathaniel; he was an avid car enthusiast as well, who
  enjoyed working on cars in his leisure time; and
         WHEREAS, Richard Wells treasured his family and friends, and
  those he leaves behind will in turn cherish their memories of this
  kind and caring man; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Richard Carroll Wells
  and extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his
  wife, Bobette Wells; to his sons, Gerald and Todd Cummins and Scan
  and Rusty Wells; to his grandchildren, Jennifer, Leah, Bobby, and
  Nathaniel Cummins; to his mother, Nina Juanita Kirkland; to his
  sisters, Margaret Jean Nowell, Betty C. Hanna, and Patsy C. Watson;
  and to his other loved ones; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Richard
  Carroll Wells.
