R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, A full and generous life drew to a close with the |
|
passing of C. T. Moore of Votaw on April 27, 2013, at the age of 79; |
|
and |
|
WHEREAS, A Votaw native, Mr. Moore was born to Edward and |
|
Myrtle Moore on July 5, 1933; he found a life partner in his wife, |
|
Ruth Moore, and the couple were blessed with a daughter, Robin; and |
|
WHEREAS, Through the years, Mr. Moore served as an enduring |
|
source of wisdom and inspiration to his grandson, Dustin, and his |
|
great-granddaughter, Savannah; and |
|
WHEREAS, C. T. Moore treasured the time he spent in the |
|
company of his family and friends, and those he leaves behind will |
|
in turn cherish their memories of this kind and caring man; now, |
|
therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of C. T. Moore and |
|
extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his wife, |
|
Ruth Moore; to his daughter, Robin McGaughey, and her husband, |
|
James; to his brother, Claude Moore, and his wife, Carol; to his |
|
sisters, Bessie Blair and Marie Lyssey; to his grandson, Dustin |
|
Hatcher; to his great-granddaughter, Savannah McGaughey; and to his |
|
many other relatives and friends; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of C. T. |
|
Moore. |
