R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Lending credence to the saying that truth is indeed |
|
|
stranger than fiction, the senior class of 2013 at Midway High |
|
|
School in Waco boasts four sets of twins among its top 50 students; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, These notable young people were honored by the |
|
|
Midway Independent School District Education Foundation, along |
|
|
with their 42 other high-achieving peers, at its annual Showcase of |
|
|
Stars Academic Banquet on April 25, 2013; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The twins who have earned this impressive |
|
|
distinction are Joe and William Bennett, Joshua and Nathan |
|
|
Blattman, Anna and Mary Julian, and Aaron and Andrew Wible; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Throughout their education, these talented Texans |
|
|
have benefited from a little sibling rivalry with their built-in |
|
|
study partner as they helped each other reach new levels of |
|
|
achievement, and they may all take great pride in their outstanding |
|
|
academic record; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate the twins at Midway High School who |
|
|
placed in the top 50 students in their graduating class and extend |
|
|
to them sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That official copies of this resolution be prepared |
|
|
for the twins as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of |
|
|
Representatives. |
