R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Family and friends are mourning the loss of Mae
  Hutto Rhodes Gibbs of Fred, who passed away on April 18, 2013, at
  the age of 75; and
         WHEREAS, Mrs. Gibbs, a lifelong resident of Fred, was born to
  Amos and Annie Hutto on June 13, 1937; before her retirement, she
  worked as a secretary at Fred Elementary School, and her deep
  devotion to the students there was rewarded with their lasting
  affection; and
         WHEREAS, Mae Gibbs was predeceased by her first husband,
  James Ray Rhodes; fortunate to find love a second time, she later
  exchanged wedding vows with Jack Gibbs; and
         WHEREAS, Although she is deeply missed, memories of this
  beloved woman will be forever treasured by those who were fortunate
  enough to share in the richness of her life; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Mae Hutto Rhodes
  Gibbs and extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to
  her husband, Jack Gibbs; to her children, Randy Rhodes and his wife,
  Brenda, Bonnie Taylor, and Barbara Rhodes; to her stepchildren,
  Steve Gibbs and his wife, Rhonda, Kent Gibbs, Cathy Brenner and her
  husband, Bill, and Stacey Phillips; to her sisters, Oneta Harris
  and her husband, Thomas, and Ruby Stewart; to her 8 grandchildren
  and 14 great-grandchildren; and to her other relatives and friends;
  and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Mae Hutto
  Rhodes Gibbs.
