R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The loved ones of Juanita Charles McAdams of |
|
Kirbyville were greatly saddened by her passing on April 11, 2013, |
|
at the age of 87; and |
|
WHEREAS, A native of the Lone Star State, the former Juanita |
|
Charles was born in Rusk on January 28, 1926, to Ramon and Emma |
|
Charles; and |
|
WHEREAS, In 1943, she married James McAdams, with whom she |
|
shared more than half a century before his passing; the mother of 6 |
|
children, Stan, Eva, Deborah, Jesse, Matthew, and Carrie, she was |
|
further blessed with 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 2 |
|
great-great-grandchildren; and |
|
WHEREAS, Juanita McAdams was devoted to her faith and family, |
|
and while she will be profoundly missed, she will always be |
|
remembered with great affection; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Juanita Charles |
|
McAdams and extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to |
|
her children, Stan McAdams and his wife, Helen, Eva Gee, Deborah |
|
Powell and her husband, Mark, Jesse McAdams and his wife, Sandy, |
|
Matthew McAdams, and Carrie McAdams; to her grandchildren, Mark |
|
Kirkpatrick, Stan McAdams, Jr., Helen Bagge, Sarah Estes, and |
|
Jamie, Jeremy, Jessica, Eric, and Melissa McAdams; to her brother, |
|
Ramon Charles; to her sister, Julia Lozano; to her 10 |
|
great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; and to her |
|
other relatives and many friends; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Juanita |
|
McAdams. |
