R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Rashad O'Rae Roberson has provided invaluable |
|
|
service as a legislative intern in the office of State |
|
|
Representative Hubert Vo during the 83rd Texas Legislative Session; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A participant in the Texas Legislative Internship |
|
|
Program, Mr. Roberson has drafted policy research and other |
|
|
documents, prepared summaries and questions for hearings of the |
|
|
Economic and Small Business Development Committee, and helped with |
|
|
constituent services tasks; he is known in the office for his |
|
|
kindness and good manners; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Roberson is a senior at Lamar University, |
|
|
studying political science and sociology; he plans to continue his |
|
|
education after graduation by attending law school and also hopes |
|
|
to secure a real estate license; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Over the course of his internship, Mr. Roberson has |
|
|
earned the respect of his colleagues, taking on each new task with |
|
|
characteristic enthusiasm, and his work has greatly benefited |
|
|
constituents in House District 149 and people throughout the state; |
|
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Rashad Roberson on his outstanding |
|
|
tenure in the office of State Representative Hubert Vo and extend to |
|
|
him sincere best wishes for a bright and happy future; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Roberson as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
