R E S O L U T I O N

|
WHEREAS, Lindsay Kubatzky is graduating from The University |
|
|
of Texas at Austin in 2013, and this notable milestone in his life |
|
|
provides a welcome opportunity to congratulate him as well as to |
|
|
recognize his contributions to the Texas House of Representatives; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A native of Georgetown, Mr. Kubatzky majored in |
|
|
government and minored in history while in college, and he was |
|
|
selected by the Bill Archer Fellowship Program to study in |
|
|
Washington, D.C., for a semester; he plans to begin his career in |
|
|
the public sector after graduation; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Kubatzky has served State Representative Hubert |
|
|
Vo as a legislative aide during the 83rd Legislative Session, and he |
|
|
previously worked in the office of Texas Senator Wendy Davis; the |
|
|
son of Timothy Kubatzky and Katherine Kerr Kubatzky, he has |
|
|
volunteered at the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum in |
|
|
Austin; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Known for his reliability and positive attitude, |
|
|
Lindsay Kubatzky has performed his duties with skill and |
|
|
dedication, and he is indeed deserving of recognition as he looks |
|
|
forward to the next exciting chapter of his life; now, therefore, be |
|
|
it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Lindsay Kubatzky on his graduation |
|
|
from The University of Texas at Austin and commend him for his |
|
|
service to the Lone Star State; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Kubatzky as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
