R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Family and friends are mourning the loss of Gene
  Edmond Eisenhauer of Corpus Christi, who passed away on March 3,
  2013, at the age of 72; and
         WHEREAS, Born on September 30, 1940, in Corpus Christi to
  Wilma Shafer and Edmond Emil Eisenhauer, "Sonny" Eisenhauer was a
  descendant of German immigrants who came to Texas in the 1840s; he
  graduated from Ray High School and attended Del Mar College, where
  he was invited to join the Phi Theta Kappa honor society; he went on
  to earn a bachelor's degree in architectural engineering from The
  University of Texas at Austin; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Eisenhauer went into business with his father
  and brother, and their Eisenhauer Construction Company built a
  number of schools in the Corpus Christi area; he later worked as a
  residential home inspector before retiring; through the years he
  also ranched, and he was a strong supporter of the FFA program at
  Calallen High School; and
         WHEREAS, In all of his endeavors, Mr. Eisenhauer enjoyed the
  love and support of his wife of nearly half a century, Anita Holt
  Eisenhauer, and he took pride in their fine family of two sons,
  William and George, and four grandchildren, David, Rachel,
  Isabella, and Louise; and
         WHEREAS, Sonny Eisenhauer lived a full and generous life
  filled with meaningful accomplishments, and his loved ones will
  forever cherish their memories of the happy times spent in his
  company; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Gene Edmond "Sonny"
  Eisenhauer and extend sincere condolences to the members of his
  family: to his wife, Anita Holt Eisenhauer; to his sons, William
  Edmond Eisenhauer and his wife, Karen, and George Edward Eisenhauer
  and his wife, Ana; to his grandchildren, David, Rachel, Isabella,
  and Louise Eisenhauer; to his brother, Dwight Emil Eisenhauer, and
  his wife, Diann; to his sister-in-law, Patricia Eisenhauer; and to
  his other relatives and friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Sonny
  Eisenhauer.
