R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Those young people who give of their time and |
|
talents to assist in the demanding work of the Texas Legislature are |
|
truly deserving of our gratitude and admiration, and Jayme Johnson |
|
is one such individual; and |
|
WHEREAS, Originally from Austin, Mr. Johnson served as a |
|
legislative intern in the office of State Representative Elliott |
|
Naishtat from January to May 2013, and his commitment, dedication, |
|
and cheerful disposition were much appreciated by his colleagues; |
|
and |
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Johnson is a student at Austin Community |
|
College, and his hands-on experience with the workings of state |
|
government will no doubt enrich and inform his undergraduate |
|
experience; and |
|
WHEREAS, Although his coworkers are sorry to see his tenure |
|
end, they share his excitement in a future that is bright with |
|
promise; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
Legislature hereby honor Jayme Johnson for his service as a |
|
legislative intern with the Texas House of Representatives and |
|
extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success and |
|
happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Mr. Johnson as an expression of high regard by the |
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
