R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Andrew Naglieri is graduating as the salutatorian of
  the Class of 2013 at Priddy High School; and
         WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only
  intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the
  highest academic standards; to attain this coveted distinction, Mr.
  Naglieri demonstrated a thorough understanding of a wide range of
  subjects, and the rewards of the countless hours he has devoted to
  his studies are myriad; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Naglieri has earned a number of prestigious
  recognitions during his high school career; he is a member of the
  National Honor Society and qualified for the state University
  Interscholastic League competitions in feature writing, news
  writing, and cross country; he qualified for the regional track
  meet, was named to the all-district first team in basketball, and is
  also on the golf team; after graduation, Mr. Naglieri plans to major
  in computer science at Tarleton State University; and
         WHEREAS, The son of proud parents Len and Pam Naglieri, Mr.
  Naglieri has earned the respect and admiration of his teachers and
  classmates at Priddy High School, and his exceptional scholastic
  ability, hard work, and commitment to excellence have opened the
  way to limitless opportunities for this remarkable young Texan;
  now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Andrew Naglieri on being named
  salutatorian of the Priddy High School Class of 2013 and extend to
  him sincere best wishes for continued success as he begins the next
  exciting chapter of his life; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Naglieri as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
