R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Family and friends are mourning the loss of Linda |
|
Ann Rountree of Lumberton, who passed away on April 16, 2013, at the |
|
age of 73; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mrs. Rountree and her husband, James, shared 54 |
|
rewarding years of marriage before his death in 2011; she was a |
|
devoted mother to her five children, Timothy, Michael, Patrick, |
|
Leisa, and Shauna, and she had the pleasure of seeing her family |
|
grow to include numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; |
|
and |
|
WHEREAS, This caring woman was employed as a nurse, before |
|
retiring, and she was a valued member of Faith Assembly of God in |
|
Lumberton; and |
|
WHEREAS, Although Linda Rountree will be deeply missed, those |
|
who were privileged to share in her friendship and love will always |
|
cherish their memories of the many happy times spent in her company; |
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Linda Ann Rountree and |
|
extend deepest sympathy to the members of her family: to her sons, |
|
Michael Andrew Rountree and his wife, Dianna, and Patrick Adair |
|
Rountree and his wife, Debbie; to her daughters, Leisa Marie |
|
Stewart and her husband, Henry, and Shauna Kathyllien Pratt-Kubenka |
|
and her husband, Joe; to her nine grandchildren, Shelley, Timothy, |
|
and Christopher Rountree, Aaron and Jacob Stewart, Jason and Avery |
|
Anthony, Robert Fowler, and Marshall Pratt; to her four |
|
great-grandchildren, Mason, Leeann, and James Rountree and |
|
Nicholas Anthony; and to her other relatives and many friends; and, |
|
be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Linda |
|
Rountree. |
