R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, During the 83rd Legislative Session, Seth Howard has
  ably served his fellow Texans as an intern in the office of State
  Representative Dan Huberty; and
         WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Howard has contributed
  to the workings of state government firsthand; in addition to
  learning more about the legislative process and the issues facing
  citizens of the Lone Star State, he has gained valuable work
  experience by conducting important research for the chief of staff;
  and
         WHEREAS, The son of Donald and Lynnette Howard, Mr. Howard is
  a political science and economics student at Lone Star
  College-Kingwood, where he has been named to the President's Honor
  List and recognized as the 2013 Government Student of the Year; he
  is also a member of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society; after
  graduation, Mr. Howard plans to attend law school; and
         WHEREAS, This noteworthy young Texan has performed his duties
  as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is indeed
  deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore,
  be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Seth Howard for his service as a
  legislative intern in the office of State Representative Dan
  Huberty and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success
  in all his future endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Howard as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
