R E S O L U T I O N
|

|
|
WHEREAS, During the 83rd Legislative Session, Seth Howard has |
|
|
ably served his fellow Texans as an intern in the office of State |
|
|
Representative Dan Huberty; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Howard has contributed |
|
|
to the workings of state government firsthand; in addition to |
|
|
learning more about the legislative process and the issues facing |
|
|
citizens of the Lone Star State, he has gained valuable work |
|
|
experience by conducting important research for the chief of staff; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The son of Donald and Lynnette Howard, Mr. Howard is |
|
|
a political science and economics student at Lone Star |
|
|
College-Kingwood, where he has been named to the President's Honor |
|
|
List and recognized as the 2013 Government Student of the Year; he |
|
|
is also a member of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society; after |
|
|
graduation, Mr. Howard plans to attend law school; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This noteworthy young Texan has performed his duties |
|
|
as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is indeed |
|
|
deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Seth Howard for his service as a |
|
|
legislative intern in the office of State Representative Dan |
|
|
Huberty and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success |
|
|
in all his future endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Howard as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
