R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Jessica Beemer is graduating with a master's degree
  in public administration with a certificate of nonprofit leadership
  and management from The University of Texas at San Antonio in May
  2013; and
         WHEREAS, The daughter of John and Mary Frances Beemer,
  Ms. Beemer has received numerous accolades during her academic
  career, including the 2011 BACCHUS Network's Most Outstanding
  Alumni Award and the 2011 UTSA Most Outstanding Graduate Student
  award; moreover, she earned the Presidential Scholarship and The
  University of Texas System Bill Archer Fellowship, and she was
  recognized by Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and
  Colleges; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Beemer is a member of Phi Kappa Phi, Alpha Chi,
  and Omicron Delta Kappa honor societies, as well as Golden Key
  International Honour Society; in addition, she has served as a
  Sigma Kappa Sorority national volunteer advisor; and
         WHEREAS, With her passion and dedication, Jessica Beemer is
  poised to be an influential role model for many young Texans, and
  she may reflect on her academic career with a sense of
  accomplishment as she looks forward to the next exciting chapter of
  her life; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Jessica Beemer on obtaining her
  master's degree in public administration from The University of
  Texas at San Antonio and extend to her sincere best wishes for
  continued success; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Beemer as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
