R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, The retirement of Dolores Howard of Austin, Texas, |
|
on May 15, 2013, brings a career spanning 27 years in public service |
|
to a close; and |
|
WHEREAS, Dolores Howard has worked full-time jobs since the |
|
age of 16, helping support her family and educating herself while |
|
accomplishing tremendous success; and |
|
WHEREAS, Dolores Howard has been a valuable asset to the |
|
State of Texas, first as a special education teacher, then working |
|
at The University of Texas at Austin, the Secretary of State's |
|
Office, and the Railroad Commission; and |
|
WHEREAS, Dolores Howard has served 21 years with the Railroad |
|
Commission in the Docket Services Division, eventually serving as |
|
the Hearings Coordinator and managing countless dockets of |
|
Commission hearings and offering superior assistance to the public; |
|
and |
|
WHEREAS, Dolores Howard's life as a wife and mother is |
|
admirable, epitomizing the results of a loving and caring family; |
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Dolores Howard on her retirement |
|
from the Railroad Commission and extend to her sincere best wishes |
|
for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Mrs. Howard as an expression of high regard by the |
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
