R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, During the 83rd Legislative Session, Chelsey McGee |
|
|
has ably served her fellow Texans as an intern in the office of |
|
|
State Representative Jason Isaac; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. McGee has contributed |
|
|
to the workings of state government firsthand; she previously |
|
|
served Representative Isaac as an intern on his campaign team in the |
|
|
fall of 2012, and she assisted the campaign of State Representative |
|
|
Paul Workman earlier that year; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. McGee is a student at Texas State University, |
|
|
pursuing a bachelor's degree in public relations with a minor in |
|
|
political communication; she volunteers for the Greater San Marcos |
|
|
Youth Council and has participated in the New Politics Forum at the |
|
|
Annette Strauss Institute for Civic Life at The University of Texas |
|
|
at Austin; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Chelsey McGee has performed her duties as a |
|
|
legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is indeed |
|
|
deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Chelsey McGee for her service as an |
|
|
intern in the office of State Representative Jason Isaac and extend |
|
|
to her sincere best wishes for great success in all her future |
|
|
endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. McGee as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
