R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Memories of a life filled with joyful times and |
|
|
meaningful accomplishments remain to comfort the loved ones of |
|
|
Karlene Snoek of Wildwood, who passed away on April 17, 2013, at the |
|
|
age of 69; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A native of Port Arthur, Ms. Snoek served as a social |
|
|
worker with the Texas Department of Human Services and retired |
|
|
after a long and productive career; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Snoek was blessed with three children, Shelley, |
|
|
Scott, and James, and she had welcomed a beloved grandchild into her |
|
|
family; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Karlene Snoek treasured the time she spent in the |
|
|
company of her family and friends, and she will forever hold a |
|
|
special place in their hearts; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Karlene Snoek and |
|
|
extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to her |
|
|
children, Shelley Simmons, Scott Simmons, and James Karel |
|
|
VanPaaschen; to her sister, Loretta Snoek Griffin; to her |
|
|
grandchild; and to her other relatives and friends; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of |
|
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Karlene |
|
|
Snoek. |
