R E S O L U T I O N

|
|
WHEREAS, Ron Wilson was honored as the Pilot Club |
|
|
Humanitarian of the Year at the annual banquet of the Mineola |
|
|
Chamber of Commerce on April 6, 2013; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A truly worthy recipient, Mr. Wilson plays an active |
|
|
role in the local area through his involvement with First United |
|
|
Methodist Church, Mineola Caring & Sharing, Inc., the Mineola |
|
|
National Main Street program, the Landmark Commission, and the |
|
|
Kiwanis Club; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This selfless Texan also extends a helping hand to |
|
|
his neighbors by checking in on those who are in poor health and by |
|
|
assisting with local projects large and small; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ron Wilson has worked tirelessly to improve the |
|
|
lives of others, setting an outstanding example of community |
|
|
engagement to which others may aspire; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Ron Wilson on his selection as the |
|
|
2013 Pilot Club Humanitarian of the Year and extend to him sincere |
|
|
best wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Wilson as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
