R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, During the 83rd Legislative Session, Victoria Haas
  has ably served her fellow Texans as an intern in the office of
  State Representative Dan Huberty; and
         WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Haas has contributed to
  state government firsthand; in addition to learning more about the
  legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star
  State, she has gained valuable work experience serving as a special
  assistant to the chief of staff and as assistant scheduler; and
         WHEREAS, The daughter of Larry and Sherry Haas, Ms. Haas is a
  junior in the Plan II Honors program at The University of Texas at
  Austin, where she is studying history; she has been involved on
  campus as the historian for the Delta Delta Delta sorority and in
  the larger community as a team leader for Rouse Young Life in
  Leander; and
         WHEREAS, This noteworthy young Texan has performed her duties
  as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is indeed
  deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore,
  be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Victoria Haas for her service as a
  legislative intern in the office of State Representative Dan
  Huberty and extend to her sincere best wishes for success in all her
  future endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Haas as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
