R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Erin Kubatzky is graduating from The University of
  Texas at Austin on May 17, 2013, and this happy event represents a
  welcome opportunity to recognize this outstanding young Texan; and
         WHEREAS, The son of Timothy and Katherine Kerr Kubatzky,
  Mr. Kubatzky is a graduate of Georgetown High School; while
  pursuing his studies in advertising and Spanish at UT, he has
  actively participated in a variety of arts and cultural
  initiatives; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Kubatzky served as an intern with the management
  team of the Austin band Nelo, assisting in the booking and promotion
  of shows through social media; he also spent several months as a
  production assistant at The Moody Theater, taking part in the
  tapings of Austin City Limits Live; and
         WHEREAS, During the preparation for the most recent South by
  Southwest Festival, Mr. Kubatzky provided assistance as a film
  production intern, helping to review, catalog, and organize more
  than 5,000 film submissions, as well as assisting with the
  organization and marketing of events; and
         WHEREAS, Through his academic studies and his work with
  several of the leading arts institutions in Austin, Erin Kubatzky
  is laying a firm foundation for his career in the entertainment
  industry, and he may indeed take pride in his achievements as he
  looks forward to a future bright with promise; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Erin Kubatzky on his graduation
  from The University of Texas at Austin and extend to him sincere
  best wishes for continued success and happiness; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Kubatzky as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
