R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, During the 83rd Legislative Session, Brette Minton |
|
|
has ably served her fellow Texans as a legislative aide in the |
|
|
office of State Representative Roberto Alonzo; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Minton has contributed |
|
|
to the workings of state government firsthand by conducting |
|
|
essential research and preparing letters; in addition to learning |
|
|
more about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens |
|
|
of the Lone Star State, she has gained valuable work experience in |
|
|
the field of public service by meeting with constituents and groups |
|
|
from District 104 and by assisting with research projects and bill |
|
|
analysis; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A student at Austin Community College, Ms. Minton |
|
|
has volunteered with a number of civic organizations and has drawn |
|
|
on her high school newspaper and yearbook experience to help draft |
|
|
press releases and correspondence; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This noteworthy young Texan has performed her duties |
|
|
as a legislative aide with skill and dedication, and she is indeed |
|
|
deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Brette Minton for her service as a |
|
|
legislative aide in the office of State Representative Roberto |
|
|
Alonzo and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success |
|
|
in all her future endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Minton as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
