R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, E. Baker Tiner of Hemphill, a devoted family man and
  a friend to many, passed away on April 27, 2013, at the age of 79;
  and
         WHEREAS, Born on July 20, 1933, in Beaumont, Mr. Tiner was
  the son of James Pierce and Alice Claire Baker Tiner; he was a
  welder and worked in that capacity for Sun Pipeline for more than 38
  years before retiring; in his leisure time, he especially enjoyed
  fishing; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Tiner had two sons, Stuart and Stanley, and over
  the passing years, he welcomed four grandchildren and a
  great-granddaughter into his life; and
         WHEREAS, Baker Tiner treasured the time he spent in the
  company of his loved ones, and those he leaves behind will in turn
  cherish their memories of him; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Baker Tiner and extend
  sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his son, Stuart
  Tiner, and his wife, Tammy; to his sisters, Patricia Schroeder and
  Bethel Lightfoot; to his brother, Joe Tiner, and his wife, Donna; to
  his grandchildren, Shaun and Sealie Tiner, Shilow Tiner and his
  wife, Amanda, and Sadie Rosenquist and her husband, Justin; to his
  great-granddaughter, Shila Tiner; and to his other relatives and
  friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Baker
  Tiner.
