R E S O L U T I O N

|
|
WHEREAS, Ritisha Gupta of Euless is receiving the Spirit of |
|
|
Volunteerism Grant from the Colleyville Woman's Club at the 15th |
|
|
Annual Caring with Commitment Celebration Luncheon on May 23, 2013; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Gupta's concern for the environment has informed |
|
|
her volunteer work for the River Legacy Living Science Center and |
|
|
the Perot Museum of Nature and Science in Dallas, and she has earned |
|
|
the respect and admiration of the staff at both institutions for her |
|
|
hard work and quiet dignity; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of proud parents Rajiv and Bhavana |
|
|
Gupta, this inspiring young woman is a student at Colleyville |
|
|
Heritage High School; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Motivated by her grandfather's advice to "give |
|
|
without expectation," Ritisha Gupta has given generously and |
|
|
selflessly of her time and energy to a cause she feels passionately |
|
|
about, and she is indeed deserving of special recognition; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Ritisha Gupta on her receipt of the |
|
|
Spirit of Volunteerism Grant from the Colleyville Woman's Club and |
|
|
extend to her sincere best wishes for success and happiness in the |
|
|
years ahead; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Gupta as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
