R E S O L U T I O N

|
|
WHEREAS, Jon and Glenda Hataway of Lubbock celebrated their |
|
|
50th wedding anniversary on May 3, 2013, and they may indeed reflect |
|
|
with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Jon Hataway and the former Glenda Adamson exchanged |
|
|
the vows of matrimony in Irving in 1963, and over the course of |
|
|
their marriage, they have found in each other a loving life partner; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Hataway count among their blessings a |
|
|
fine family that includes two daughters and their spouses, Angie |
|
|
and Mike Martin and Brandi and Shane Williams, as well as four |
|
|
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For half a century, Jon and Glenda Hataway have |
|
|
brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it |
|
|
is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Jon and Glenda Hataway on their |
|
|
golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes |
|
|
for continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Hataway as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
