R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The 103rd birthday of an esteemed Texan is indeed a |
|
|
special occasion, and Nina Lindsey of Bertram celebrated that |
|
|
milestone on March 10, 2013; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mrs. Lindsey marked the special day with a party |
|
|
that was attended by numerous loved ones, including members of each |
|
|
of the five generations now encompassed by her family; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Guests arrived with gifts of roses, a flower she has |
|
|
loved throughout her life, and the Marble Falls Church of Christ |
|
|
honored the event by presenting her with a basket containing 103 |
|
|
blooms; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Nina Lindsey is a source of tremendous inspiration, |
|
|
and in sharing the experience gained through more than a century of |
|
|
life well lived, she bestows a precious gift of wisdom that benefits |
|
|
all who are fortunate enough to know her; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Nina Lindsey on her 103rd birthday |
|
|
and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, |
|
|
be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mrs. Lindsey as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
