R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Noe Andres Gonzalez has ably served his fellow |
|
|
Texans as a legislative aide in the office of State Representative |
|
|
Terry Canales during the 83rd Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Gonzalez has managed |
|
|
his daily responsibilities in an exceptional manner; his |
|
|
professionalism has helped ensure the efficient operation of the |
|
|
office, and his commitment and hard work have been greatly |
|
|
appreciated by his colleagues; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This dynamic young Texan was born in McAllen and |
|
|
grew up in Edinburg; as an honors student at Edinburg High School, |
|
|
he was captain of the football team and coeditor of the yearbook and |
|
|
newspaper; he is a member of the Class of 2014 at The University of |
|
|
Texas at Austin and is majoring in journalism and government with |
|
|
the intent of pursuing a law degree; active in civic life, |
|
|
Mr. Gonzalez has worked on a statewide political campaign and has |
|
|
served as a supervising assistant for the Boys & Girls Club; he also |
|
|
contributes stories on local government and community issues to |
|
|
Texas Newswatch, which airs on the Longhorn Network; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Noe Gonzalez has provided valuable assistance to the |
|
|
office of Representative Canales, performing his duties as a |
|
|
legislative aide with diligence, skill, and dedication, and his |
|
|
fine work is indeed deserving of special recognition; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Noe Andres Gonzalez for his service as a |
|
|
legislative aide in the office of State Representative Terry |
|
|
Canales and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success |
|
|
in his future endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Gonzalez as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
