R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, During the 83rd Legislative Session, Emily Campbell
  has ably served her fellow Texans as an intern in the office of
  State Representative Terry Canales; and
         WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Campbell has
  contributed to the workings of state government firsthand; in
  addition to learning more about the legislative process and the
  issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, she has gained
  valuable work experience in the field of public service; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Campbell graduated in 2009 from Crandall High
  School and has since attended Stephen F. Austin State University,
  where she is working toward a degree in political science; she
  serves as the current president of Pi Sigma Alpha, the national
  political science honor society, and she has been further involved
  on campus as a member of the International Friendship Program and
  the Diamond Dolls; following graduation, she plans to attend law
  school in Dallas; and
         WHEREAS, This noteworthy young Texan has performed her duties
  as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is indeed
  deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore,
  be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Emily Campbell for her service as a
  legislative intern in the office of State Representative Terry
  Canales and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success
  in all her future endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Campbell as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
