R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, A 50th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of |
|
|
mutual devotion and shared experiences, and Vantso and Sandra |
|
|
Bailey of Lorena celebrated this joyous milestone in their marriage |
|
|
on April 26, 2013; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Vantso Bailey immigrated to the United States from |
|
|
Macedonia in 1957 and met the former Sandra Schrader at the Hob Nob |
|
|
in Waco; they were joined in matrimony in 1963, and through the |
|
|
years, they have been blessed with a treasured family that includes |
|
|
three children, Troy, Rhonda, and Renee, as well as six |
|
|
grandchildren; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Respected members of their community, Mr. and |
|
|
Mrs. Bailey founded Van Arts Company in 1967, and the couple still |
|
|
own and operate the business today; in addition to meeting their |
|
|
career and family responsibilities, they have been valued members |
|
|
of the Beacon Hill Baptist Church for more than 40 years; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Bailey have enjoyed half a century of |
|
|
abiding love and affection for each other, and they are among an |
|
|
exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting |
|
|
commitment; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Vantso and Sandra Bailey on their |
|
|
golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes |
|
|
for continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Bailey as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
