R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Kaleb Rochelle distinguished himself by |
|
|
participating in the 2013 Business Professionals of America |
|
|
National Leadership Conference, held May 8 through 12 in Orlando, |
|
|
Florida; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The Business Professionals of America organization |
|
|
is dedicated to helping students prepare themselves for careers in |
|
|
finance, management, administration, information technology, and |
|
|
other endeavors crucial to the U.S. economy; the annual BPA |
|
|
National Leadership Conference brings together more than 5,000 |
|
|
individuals from across the country to take part in educational |
|
|
seminars, leadership workshops, and a variety of challenging |
|
|
competitions that showcase their occupational skills; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A student in the Paducah Independent School |
|
|
District, Mr. Rochelle took part in the mid-level keyboard event in |
|
|
Orlando, finishing in 16th place; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through his involvement in the BPA National |
|
|
Leadership Conference, this admirable young Texan is building a |
|
|
strong foundation for future success, and he may reflect with pride |
|
|
on his notable accomplishments; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Kaleb Rochelle on his performance |
|
|
in the mid-level keyboard event at the Business Professionals of |
|
|
America National Leadership Conference and extend to him sincere |
|
|
best wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Rochelle as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
