R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Charlie Holley distinguished herself by qualifying
  for the 2013 Business Professionals of America National Leadership
  Conference, held May 8 through 12 in Orlando, Florida; and
         WHEREAS, The Business Professionals of America organization
  is dedicated to helping students prepare themselves for careers in
  finance, management, administration, information technology, and
  other endeavors crucial to the U.S. economy; the annual BPA
  National Leadership Conference brings together more than 5,000
  individuals from across the country to take part in educational
  seminars, leadership workshops, and a variety of challenging
  competitions that showcase their occupational skills; and
         WHEREAS, A student in the Paducah Independent School
  District, Ms. Holley took part in the prepared speech event at the
  Orlando gathering; and
         WHEREAS, Through her involvement in the BPA National
  Leadership Conference, this admirable young Texan is building a
  strong foundation for future success, and she may reflect with
  pride on her notable accomplishments; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Charlie Holley on qualifying for
  the 2013 Business Professionals of America National Leadership
  Conference in the prepared speech event and extend to her sincere
  best wishes for continued success; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Holley as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
