R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Benjamin Blanton Melson, Jr., has provided valuable |
|
|
public service as a legislative aide in the office of State |
|
|
Representative Dan Huberty; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A native of The Woodlands, Mr. Melson earned a |
|
|
degree in political science in 2011 from Texas A&M University; he |
|
|
has been a member of Representative Huberty's staff for nearly two |
|
|
years, during which time he has learned about the legislative |
|
|
process and about the issues facing citizens of House District 127; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Melson has brought enthusiasm and dedication to |
|
|
his tasks, which have included researching and analyzing bills for |
|
|
hearings of the public education committee and conducting |
|
|
constituent services; he looks forward to continuing his career in |
|
|
state government; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This outstanding young man has ably served his |
|
|
fellow Texans as a legislative aide, and he is indeed deserving of |
|
|
special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby honor Benjamin Blanton Melson, Jr., for his |
|
|
service as a legislative aide in the office of State Representative |
|
|
Dan Huberty and extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; |
|
|
and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Melson as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
