R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, During the 83rd Legislative Session, Jennifer Drews
  of Austin has ably served her fellow Texans as an intern in the
  office of State Representative Bill Zedler; and
         WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Drews has contributed
  to the workings of state government firsthand; in addition to
  learning more about the legislative process and the issues facing
  citizens of the Lone Star State, she has gained valuable work
  experience in the field of public service; her many duties included
  compiling legislative research, communicating with constituents,
  and maintaining files for house and senate bills; and
         WHEREAS, The daughter of Carl and Mary Drews, Ms. Drews
  recently graduated with honors from The University of Texas at
  Austin with a major in sociology and a minor in psychology; outside
  the classroom, she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority and
  volunteered her time with Austin Pets Alive! and Prevent Child
  Abuse America; and
         WHEREAS, This noteworthy young Texan has performed her duties
  as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is indeed
  deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore,
  be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Jennifer Drews for her service as a
  legislative intern in the office of State Representative Bill
  Zedler and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success
  in all her future endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Drews as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
