R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, During the 83rd Legislative Session, Mayra Diaz has |
|
|
ably served her fellow Texans as an intern in the office of State |
|
|
Representative Jason Isaac; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Diaz has contributed to |
|
|
the workings of state government firsthand; in addition to learning |
|
|
more about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens |
|
|
of the Lone Star State, she has gained valuable work experience in |
|
|
the field of public service; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A graduate of Midland Senior High School, Ms. Diaz |
|
|
is studying political science and Spanish at Texas State |
|
|
University; she has been an active volunteer, sharing her time with |
|
|
Relay for Life as well as participating in recycling and beach |
|
|
cleanup efforts; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This noteworthy young Texan has performed her duties |
|
|
as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is indeed |
|
|
deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Mayra Diaz for her service as a |
|
|
legislative intern in the office of State Representative Jason |
|
|
Isaac and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in |
|
|
all her future endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Diaz as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
