WHER |
|
|
EAS, Faviola Sanchez of Valley View High School in |
|
|
Hidalgo received well-deserved recognition when she was named the |
|
|
2012-2013 Valley View Independent School District Teacher of the |
|
|
Year; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A graduate of South Texas High School for Health |
|
|
Professions, Ms. Sanchez earned a bachelor's degree in biology and |
|
|
a life science teacher certification at The University of |
|
|
Texas--Pan American; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Sanchez is in her second year at Valley View High |
|
|
School and teaches anatomy and physiology as well as |
|
|
advanced-placement biology to senior students; during her time at |
|
|
Valley View, she has not only helped her students meet their |
|
|
academic goals, she has also served as a leader, a counselor, and a |
|
|
tireless advocate for their success; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, With her creativity and energy, Ms. Sanchez has |
|
|
inspired in her students a zeal for learning that will serve them |
|
|
well throughout their lives, and she is a source of pride to her |
|
|
school and her community; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Faviola Sanchez on being named the |
|
|
2012-2013 Valley View Independent School District Teacher of the |
|
|
Year and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success; |
|
|
and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Sanchez as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
