R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, During the 83rd Legislative Session, Victoria
  Cottongim of Travis County has ably served her fellow Texans as an
  intern in the office of State Representative Eric Johnson; and
         WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Cottongim has
  contributed to the workings of state government firsthand, and her
  commitment, enthusiasm, and strong work ethic have made her an
  indispensable asset; Ms. Cottongim's skill and productivity have
  resulted in an expansion of her duties and, in fulfilling those
  responsibilities, she has solidified her reputation as a diligent
  coworker; and
         WHEREAS, The daughter of proud parents Jeff and Annie
  Cottongim, Ms. Cottongim is a recent graduate of The University of
  Texas at Austin, where she earned a bachelor's degree in sociology;
  and
         WHEREAS, This notable Texan-by-choice has ably balanced the
  heavy demands of the legislative session and those of her final
  semester at UT, and she is indeed deserving of special recognition;
  now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Victoria Cottongim for her service as an
  intern in the office of State Representative Eric Johnson and
  extend to her sincere best wishes for great success in all her
  future endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Cottongim as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
