R E S O L U T I O N
|

|
|
WHEREAS, Bianca Buitron is graduating as the valedictorian of |
|
|
the 2013 senior class at Banquete High School; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only |
|
|
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the |
|
|
highest academic standards; Ms. Buitron has demonstrated a |
|
|
thorough understanding of a wide range of subjects, with her |
|
|
favorite being math; in addition, she participated in numerous |
|
|
extracurricular activities, including the National Honor Society, |
|
|
which she served as president, and the track, volleyball, and |
|
|
basketball teams, which she led as captain; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of Larry and Emma Buitron, Ms. Buitron |
|
|
plans to continue her education at Texas A&M University--Kingsville |
|
|
to study chemical engineering; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Throughout her academic career, Bianca Buitron has |
|
|
earned the respect and admiration of her teachers and classmates at |
|
|
Banquete High School, and her exceptional scholastic ability, hard |
|
|
work, and commitment to excellence have opened the way to limitless |
|
|
opportunities for this remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be |
|
|
it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Bianca Buitron, valedictorian of |
|
|
the Banquete High School Class of 2013, and extend to her sincere |
|
|
best wishes for continued success as she begins the next exciting |
|
|
chapter of her life; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Buitron as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
