R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, John Sneed, executive director of the State |
|
|
Preservation Board, provided able assistance to the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature in its consideration of Senate Bill 201, the State |
|
|
Preservation Board sunset bill; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The Sunset Advisory Commission reviews the policies |
|
|
and programs of government agencies every 12 years, with the goal of |
|
|
identifying and eliminating waste, duplication, and inefficiency; |
|
|
in the course of the sunset review of the State Preservation Board, |
|
|
John Sneed contributed greatly to the success of the review team |
|
|
through his commitment to the timely provision of pertinent |
|
|
information and his skilled leadership of his staff; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Sneed demonstrated the utmost professionalism |
|
|
in connection with the consideration of S.B. 201, and it is indeed |
|
|
fitting to recognize his dedicated efforts in this regard; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend executive director John Sneed for his |
|
|
outstanding work relating to the sunset review of the State |
|
|
Preservation Board and extend to him sincere gratitude for his |
|
|
noteworthy endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Sneed as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
