R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Kristina Kirby, a recent graduate of Sanford-Fritch |
|
|
High School, placed third in the computer applications competition |
|
|
at the University Interscholastic League Conference 2A academic |
|
|
state meet held in the spring of 2012; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A member of the Sanford-Fritch Class of 2012, |
|
|
Ms. Kirby distinguished herself in the technology-based contest; |
|
|
she was a standout in a conference that included students from more |
|
|
than 240 Texas schools; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, To perform at the highest level in statewide |
|
|
academic competition requires not only skill and intellect but also |
|
|
exceptional dedication, and Ms. Kirby may reflect with pride on |
|
|
this notable achievement; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Kristina Kirby on placing third in |
|
|
the computer applications competition at the 2012 University |
|
|
Interscholastic League 2A academic state meet and extend to her |
|
|
sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Kirby as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
