R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, The talented cast and crew of the China Spring High
  School One-Act Play team have advanced to the 2013 University
  Interscholastic League One-Act Play State Meet; and
         WHEREAS, Under the guidance of director Kendra Tatsch,
  students from China Spring High successfully performed The
  Foreigner at the regional UIL competition, earning the right to
  compete in the state finals at The University of Texas at Austin;
  and
         WHEREAS, The continuing richness and diversity of Texas
  culture depends in large part upon the enthusiasm and commitment of
  gifted young people, and the members of the China Spring One-Act
  Play team have earned great distinction for themselves, their
  school, and their community with their excellence in the dramatic
  arts; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate the China Spring High School
  One-Act Play cast and crew for advancing to the UIL state finals and
  extend to them sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it
  further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for the group as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
