R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, The talented cast and crew of the China Spring High |
|
School One-Act Play team have advanced to the 2013 University |
|
Interscholastic League One-Act Play State Meet; and |
|
WHEREAS, Under the guidance of director Kendra Tatsch, |
|
students from China Spring High successfully performed The |
|
Foreigner at the regional UIL competition, earning the right to |
|
compete in the state finals at The University of Texas at Austin; |
|
and |
|
WHEREAS, The continuing richness and diversity of Texas |
|
culture depends in large part upon the enthusiasm and commitment of |
|
gifted young people, and the members of the China Spring One-Act |
|
Play team have earned great distinction for themselves, their |
|
school, and their community with their excellence in the dramatic |
|
arts; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
Legislature hereby congratulate the China Spring High School |
|
One-Act Play cast and crew for advancing to the UIL state finals and |
|
extend to them sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it |
|
further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for the group as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
House of Representatives. |
