R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Betty Traylor has been selected as the 2012
  Administrator of the Year by the Texas Health Care Association; and
         WHEREAS, Dedicated to the well-being of the elderly, Mrs.
  Traylor serves as administrator of Pleasant Springs Healthcare
  Center in Mount Pleasant, where she is greatly respected by her
  staff and known for her compassion and acts of kindness; Pleasant
  Springs is a state accredited site for certified nurse aide testing
  and clinical training, and this notable Texan is also contributing
  to the future of care for senior citizens by encouraging colleges
  and high schools to hold training classes at the facility; and
         WHEREAS, Mrs. Traylor is active in her profession,
  contributing to the THCA Advocacy Committee, the THCA
  Administrators Council, and the THCA CQI Program; in addition, she
  is a member of the Lions Club, Foreign Missions, the Chamber of
  Commerce, and the board of directors of the Alzheimer's Alliance,
  and she also coordinates special events to honor military veterans;
  and
         WHEREAS, Betty Traylor has devoted her career to improving
  the quality of life for senior citizens, and her outstanding
  commitment to this vital and ever-growing portion of the population
  has made an immeasurable difference in the community she serves;
  now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Betty Traylor on being named
  Administrator of the Year by the Texas Health Care Association and
  extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success with her
  important work; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mrs. Traylor as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
