R E S O L U T I O N
|

|
|
WHEREAS, During the 83rd Legislative Session, Ryan Biggs has |
|
|
ably served the people of Texas as an intern in the office of State |
|
|
Representative Eric Johnson; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Biggs has learned about |
|
|
the workings of state government firsthand, and his enthusiasm and |
|
|
sense of responsibility have made him an irreplaceable asset; he |
|
|
has taken on extra duties and earned a reputation as a diligent |
|
|
coworker and trustworthy friend; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The son of Beverly Bassett, Mr. Biggs is a native of |
|
|
St. Louis, Missouri, and a sophomore at The University of Texas at |
|
|
Austin, majoring in international relations and global studies; he |
|
|
has served as the public relations chair for the Freshman |
|
|
Leadership Organization and now works as a Camp Texas counselor; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This outstanding young man has balanced the demands |
|
|
of the legislative session with a full load of college courses, and |
|
|
his determination and commitment are indeed deserving of special |
|
|
recognition; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Ryan Biggs for his service as an intern |
|
|
in the office of State Representative Eric Johnson and extend to him |
|
|
sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Biggs as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
