R E S O L U T I O N
|

|
|
WHEREAS, Kristin Thrasher has been named 2013 Teacher of the |
|
|
Year for Forest Oak Middle School by the Fort Worth Independent |
|
|
School District; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A solid education is vital for young people to |
|
|
become successful and productive adults, and those men and women |
|
|
who dedicate their careers to teaching contribute each day to the |
|
|
future of their students, as well as to the communities in which |
|
|
they live; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Serving as role models, motivators, listeners, and |
|
|
mentors, the best educators bring to the classroom creativity, |
|
|
energy, and resourcefulness; Kristin Thrasher is one such teacher, |
|
|
inspiring in her students a love of learning that will serve them |
|
|
well throughout their lives; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Kristin Thrasher on her selection |
|
|
as a 2013 Forest Oak Middle School Teacher of the Year and extend to |
|
|
her sincere best wishes for continued success with her important |
|
|
work; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Thrasher as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
