R E S O L U T I O N
|

|
|
WHEREAS, Jessica Renee Muldrow is graduating as the |
|
|
salutatorian of the senior class of Crosby High School on June 4, |
|
|
2013; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only |
|
|
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the |
|
|
highest academic standards; Ms. Muldrow demonstrated a thorough |
|
|
understanding of a wide range of subjects, and she has earned |
|
|
membership in the National Honor Society, the Science National |
|
|
Honor Society, the National English Honor Society, and Mu Alpha |
|
|
Theta, the national math honor society; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of proud parents Anthony and Patricia |
|
|
Muldrow, Ms. Muldrow has further distinguished herself through her |
|
|
numerous extracurricular activities, including soccer, Girl |
|
|
Scouts, and the Crosby High Afternoon Tea Society; moreover, she |
|
|
has been a member of the band, competing in Division I level solo, |
|
|
marching, and concert and sight-reading contests, and she received |
|
|
the prestigious John Philip Sousa Award; following her graduation, |
|
|
she plans to pursue a degree in music education; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Throughout her academic career, Jessica Muldrow has |
|
|
earned the respect and admiration of her teachers and classmates at |
|
|
Crosby High, and her exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and |
|
|
commitment to excellence have opened the way to limitless |
|
|
opportunities for this remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be |
|
|
it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Jessica Renee Muldrow, |
|
|
salutatorian of the Crosby High School class of 2013, and extend to |
|
|
her sincere best wishes for continued success as she begins the next |
|
|
exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Muldrow as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
