H.R. No. 3059

R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, During the 83rd Legislative Session, Theresa Corona has ably served her fellow Texans as a legislative aide in the office of State Representative R. D. "Bobby" Guerra; and

WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Corona has contributed to the workings of state government firsthand; in addition to learning more about the legislative process and issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, she has gained valuable work experience in the field of public service; her responsibilities in Representative Guerra's office have included performing research, handling constituent contact activities, and managing the social media division of the office; and

WHEREAS, The daughter of Rosie and Agustin Corona, Theresa Corona is a recent graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor of science degree in health promotion and fitness; while at The University of Texas, Ms. Corona dedicated four years to the UT cheerleading team; and

WHEREAS, This noteworthy young Texan is an outstanding student who has performed her duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is indeed deserving of special recognition for her work and achievements; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas Legislature hereby commend Theresa Corona for her service as a legislative aide in the office of State Representative R. D. "Bobby" Guerra and congratulate her on her completion of her bachelor of science degree at The University of Texas at Austin; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Ms. Corona as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
