R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, During the 83rd Legislative Session, Theresa Corona |
|
|
has ably served her fellow Texans as a legislative aide in the |
|
|
office of State Representative R.D. "Bobby" Guerra; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Corona has contributed |
|
|
to the workings of state government firsthand; in addition to |
|
|
learning more about the legislative process and issues facing |
|
|
citizens of the Lone Star State, she has gained valuable work |
|
|
experience in the field of public service; her responsibilities in |
|
|
Representative Guerra's office have included performing research, |
|
|
handling constituent contact activities, and managing the social |
|
|
media division of the office; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of Rosie and Agustin Corona, Theresa |
|
|
Corona is a recent graduate of the University of Texas at Austin |
|
|
with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Promotion and Fitness. |
|
|
And while at the University of Texas, Ms. Corona dedicated four |
|
|
years to the UT Cheerleading Team; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This noteworthy young Texan is an outstanding |
|
|
student who has performed her duties as a legislative intern with |
|
|
skill and dedication, and she is indeed deserving of special |
|
|
recognition for her work and achievements; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Theresa Corona for her service as a |
|
|
legislative aide in the office of State Representative R.D. "Bobby" |
|
|
Guerra and congratulate her on her completion of her Bachelor of |
|
|
Science degree at The University of Texas at Austin; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Corona as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
