R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Socorro Espinoza of the McAllen Independent School |
|
|
District has earned her Ph.D. from The University of Texas--Pan |
|
|
American; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, After years of hard work and dedicated study, Dr. |
|
|
Espinoza received a doctorate of education in educational |
|
|
leadership from the UTPA College of Education, which emphasizes |
|
|
preparing degree candidates to be leaders in a variety of settings; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The principal of Francisca Alvarez Elementary |
|
|
School in McAllen, Dr. Espinoza has long enjoyed the respect and |
|
|
admiration of her colleagues and students, and this new achievement |
|
|
reflects her outstanding commitment to preparing the next |
|
|
generation for the challenges and opportunities of the future; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Dr. Socorro Espinoza for earning |
|
|
her Ph.D. in educational leadership and extend to her sincere best |
|
|
wishes for continued success with her important work; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Dr. Espinoza as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
