R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Scott Crane was reelected to the McAllen Board of |
|
|
Commissioners for District 1 on May 11, 2013; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Along with the mayor, the McAllen city commission is |
|
|
responsible for setting city policy, approving the annual budget, |
|
|
adopting city ordinances, and determining the tax rates; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Crane's hard work and expertise in a wide range |
|
|
of community issues have earned him the respect of the voters in |
|
|
District 1, and it is most fitting to take this opportunity to honor |
|
|
him; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Scott Crane for winning reelection |
|
|
to the McAllen Board of Commissioners and extend to him sincere best |
|
|
wishes for continued success in his important work; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Crane as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
