R E S O L U T I O N

WH |
|
|
EREAS, During the 83rd Legislative Session, Jarrett |
|
|
Jackson has ably served his fellow Texans as an intern in the office |
|
|
of State Representative Poncho Nevarez; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Jackson has |
|
|
contributed to the workings of state government firsthand; in |
|
|
addition to learning more about the legislative process and the |
|
|
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, he has gained |
|
|
valuable work experience in the field of public service; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Jackson was selected by the Texas Legislative |
|
|
Internship Program; he graduated in 2009 from Southwest High School |
|
|
in Fort Worth and is attending Stephen F. Austin University, where |
|
|
he is working toward a double major in political science and |
|
|
communications; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This noteworthy young Texan has performed his duties |
|
|
as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is indeed |
|
|
deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Jarrett Jackson for his service as a |
|
|
legislative intern in the office of State Representative Poncho |
|
|
Nevarez and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success |
|
|
in all his future endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Jackson as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
