R E S O L U T I O N
         WH
  EREAS, During the 83rd Legislative Session, Jarrett
  Jackson has ably served his fellow Texans as an intern in the office
  of State Representative Poncho Nevarez; and
         WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Jackson has
  contributed to the workings of state government firsthand; in
  addition to learning more about the legislative process and the
  issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, he has gained
  valuable work experience in the field of public service; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Jackson was selected by the Texas Legislative
  Internship Program; he graduated in 2009 from Southwest High School
  in Fort Worth and is attending Stephen F. Austin University, where
  he is working toward a double major in political science and
  communications; and
         WHEREAS, This noteworthy young Texan has performed his duties
  as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is indeed
  deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore,
  be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Jarrett Jackson for his service as a
  legislative intern in the office of State Representative Poncho
  Nevarez and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success
  in all his future endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Jackson as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
